Coronavirus and Village of Bannockburn Operations

As we continue to monitor developments regarding the coronavirus, the Village of Bannockburn has canceled public meetings and will close the Village Hall from Monday, March 16 – Friday, March 20. The March 17th Architectural Review Commission and the April 6th Plan Commission & Zoning Board of Appeals meetings have been canceled.

Village staff will be working from home and will respond to emails and voice messages. The Village Hall will be completely cleaned and sanitized next week while we are closed. This decision was made in order to limit exposure and the spread of the coronavirus while promoting the health and  safety of our residents, staff and elected and appointed officials.

The Bannockburn Police will continue with their excellent service with full staffing and will respond to all calls. Contact the Police department for non-emergency needs at 847-945-8490.

During this closure, payments for utility bills and police tickets can be paid online via our website. For other Village inquiries, please utilize the FOLLOWING LINK to submit your question or request. Someone from the Village will respond to your email as soon as possible.

Please follow the instructions from the CDC to practice social distancing, cover your mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing, wash your hands, don’t touch your face or mouth, stay home (watch some movies, read some books or clean the basement) and if you start feeling sick, call your doctor for next steps.

Please continue to monitor the Village of Bannockburn website for additional updates and information.  Thank you for your understanding during these very stressful times.
