Com Ed Power Outages (11-26 Winter Storm)

Update (final) – on November 28th, we were notified that all residents in the Village of Bannockburn had power restored to their homes.

4:30PM – ComEd has not been able to provide the Village with any updates as to the timing for restoration of power.  As of 4:30PM, ComEd noted that approximately 112,000 customers still have an outage caused by the storm.

3:30PM – ComEd has not been able to provide the Village with any updates as to the timing for restoration of power.  This has been for people generally in the southern half of Bannockburn.  We will keep working to communicate with them to see when the power will be restored (as of 1:30 pm, there were still 140,000 customers without power).

We understand that with the winter storm and the heavy snow that has fallen on the trees, the power is out in the Bannockburn area.  ComEd will be your point of contact if you have lost power (as they control the power grid).  To report loss of power, contact 1-800-Edison1 (334-7661) or utilize your smart phone to report the outage with the ComEd App.  You can also utilize their “Outage Map” via their website at https://outagemap.comed.com/.
