Beeson’s Corner Development Information

UPDATED (1-14-2020)*

This is information related to a proposed development at the northeast corner of Half Day Road (Route 22) and Waukegan Road (Route 43).

*NEW*  On January 13, 2020, the Village of Bannockburn Village Board held another public meeting related to the Beeson’s Corner project.  After listening to the public comment, no formal action was taken on the project by the Village Board.  As noted at the meeting by the Village President, responses from the developer, revised plans, as well as additional informational documentation is available for downloadCLICK HERE for the link to the information.  No specific future meeting date has been defined for the project (we will update this page once there is a date defined).

PROCESS

The proposed development (named Beeson’s Corner) held public hearing’s [click here for notices] before the Village of Bannockburn Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals (PCZBA) on November 18, 2019. [PCZBA Agenda 11-18-19]  At this meeting, the PCZBA provided a recommendation of approval to the Village Board for the proposed applications/project.

Beeson’s Corner then had a public meeting before the Village of Bannockburn Architectural Review Commission (ARC) on November 19, 2019.  At this meeting, the ARC approved the proposed application/project. [11-19-19 ARC agenda]

Following the recommendation from the PCZBA and approval from the ARC, the Village Board held a public hearing on December 9, 2019.  At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Village Board deferred consideration on the various approvals needed to authorize the development proposal. On December 17, 2019, the Village of Bannockburn received the following documentation from the developers of the proposal in response to the questions raised at the December 9, 2019 Village Board meeting:

  3. Student Population Generation and School Impact Fee Survey-c (Developer Document)

On December 20, 2019, the Village of Bannockburn received the school impact study from the Bannockburn School District.
