2015 Special Olympics Polar Plunge Event with Bannockburn Police

This was the eleventh year the Bannockburn Police Department braved the frigid waters of Lake Michigan (even though we had to go into a dive pool) to raise funds for the Special Olympics on 3/7/2015.  Thanks to everyone who donated their time and money to this cause! A special thanks to John & Karen Vanderbilt for coming out to the plunge with the Police!  Officer Ogden and Ryan Mentkowski (Assistant to Village Manager on behalf of Ron Price) took the plunge into the icy cold shore of Lake Michigan on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Lake Bluff.
