What are your village hall hours?

Monday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. – Noon

What do I need to know about selling or buying a home in Bannockburn?

How do I find out about renting the Village’s Open Space Shelter?

Information and application about the rental of the Open Space Shelter can be found at the following link: Open Space Shelter Application.  In order to formally reserve the shelter, the application, application fee and deposit are required.  You may call our office at 847-945-6080 to determine if the day is available for rental.

Can I do construction work on the weekends in Bannockburn?

No. Weekend work is not allowed on Saturday or Sunday in the Village of Bannockburn.  Normal construction hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Do you have a Committee that reviews new construction, remodeling, exterior lighting, signage, and landscaping for both commercial and residential structures?

Yes.  The Village of Bannockburn has an Architectural Review Committee (aka, “ARC”) to handle those tasks.  Information on the ARC’s purpose, membership and meeting schedules can be found on our website at: www.bannockburn.org/government/architectural_review_commission/

Where can I find a digital copy of a Building Permit?

Can I pay my Water/Sewer bill online?

Yes.  The Village has set up a digital portal through the State of Illinois which allows you to pay for your water/sewer bill online.  All you need is your water/sewer account number and total bill due (both of which are located on your quarterly water bill).  The link to the system is located on our homepage or you can connect through the following link: www.illinoisepay.com/epay/GetSite?cmd=get&siteId=890

Can I still mail my water/sewer bill if it is late?

Yes.  While it will still be considered late, the Village will accept the payment for your bill, even after the due date.

When will the Village pathways be plowed after it has snowed?

The contract the Village has with our snow plow company requires that the snow fall will be cleared from the Village pathways/sidewalks within 24 hours AFTER a snowfall is done.  Please understand that there are occasional times when the pathways get recovered with snow, after we have cleared the pathway, specifically on Half Day Road (Rte 22) and Waukegan Road (Rte 43). This is because the Illinois Department of Transportation will come and push additional snow back off their street (Rte 22 & Rte 43 are their streets) and back onto the pathways in order to make room for additional future snow fall.  The Village thanks you in advance for your patience as we do continue to try to make that pathway available for use as quickly as possible.
